                                      Brosnan's Son Not Impressed

This story comes directly from Pierce himself.

Pierce Brosnan took his son to the filming of "Die Another Day". It was the big shoot out and escape to the hovercraft day. His son really liked the cool cars that were lined up.

Then Bosnan shot the big scene with 5 cameras running, explosions and stunts all in one take. It ended with him jumping on a hovercraft and knocking out the bad guy.

"How did you like that?" he asked his son.

    "Are the car's okay?"

"Yes, they're okay. How did you like the scene?"

"Can we see the cars again now?"

    "Ah.....sure....okay."

The bible states that, "A prophet in his own town is never believed." So I guess "A Bond in his own family is not appreciated." This is why Robert Ringer wrote why it is good in business to be "an expert from a far." Doing business out of town gives you that special aura.

So if your great accomplishments are not appreciated by your own group, don't fret. Don't let that be a reason to give up. They'll be appreciated elsewhere. And in time in your own circle of influence. In the mean time, just show the kid the cars.

  • There is so much here. Just like in all your short but extremely meaningful newsletter entries. Sometimes I wish you would just publish a book of all these entries so I can read them over when I need to.
