In the movie "The Rock", Sean Connery asks Nicolas Cage, "Are you sure you're ready for this?" (mission). Cage replys, "I'll do my best."
Connery says strongly."Your best? Losers always whine about their best. Winners go home and bang the prom queen."
Be prepared to go all the way and win. And beware of slogans that get you conveniently off the hook when you are about to give up, like "Well, you live and learn". "Everybody is doing the best they can." "Well, it couldn't be helped." "Well, I tried."
Forget these slogans and improvise and adapt until you overcome the challenge and succeed with your mission.

I've been backsliding a bit into old behaviours and rationalizing it with "well, I'm trying as hard as I can".
After reading your last post though, I realize that's not the way to tackle this thing - I will as you say "improvise and adapt" until I can figure out a way to beat it - however long that takes.
You've given my determination a well needed kick in the bum and now I'm going to get out there and bang the prom queen (well, metaphorically speaking of course!).

I was prom queen for the class of 95 and no one got to f--k me. Although, this cherry secretly wanted to be popped. I wouldn't because I was holding out for love. *giggle* By the way, Sean Connery is hot! I've seen that movie before. Nicolas Cage's character deserved what he was told. Everything you've just posted makes perfect sense to me. Awsome! I loved it!

So True Paul. Being in the military, I know that the only that really matters is victory. Getting the job done. Like Patton said, "every hates a loser". This is a sometimes sad but brutally true reality in life. If a 00 agent fails, he gets the @#$% back up and keeps going until victory.
